Measurement of the $ \mathrm{B}^+ $ hadron production cross section in pp collisions at 13 TeV | ||

Abstract: The $ \mathrm{B}^+ $ meson differential cross sections, as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity, are measured in pp collisions at center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV, on the basis of a data sample collected by the CMS experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 50.8 pb$^{-1}$. The measurement uses the exclusive decay channel $ \mathrm{ B^+ \to J/\psi K^+ } $, with the $ \mathrm{ J } / \psi $ decaying to a pair of muons. The results are compared with theory calculations and with measurements made at 7 TeV. | ||
