Measurement of the B+ hadron production cross section in pp collisions at 13 TeV
Abstract: The B+ meson differential cross sections, as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity, are measured in pp collisions at center-of-mass energy s= 13 TeV, on the basis of a data sample collected by the CMS experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 50.8 pb1. The measurement uses the exclusive decay channel B+J/ψK+, with the J/ψ decaying to a pair of muons. The results are compared with theory calculations and with measurements made at 7 TeV.
