Abstract:
This document reports on a search for the associated WH Higgs boson production in the three lepton final state in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = $ 7 and 8~$\mathrm{Te\kern -0.1em V}$. The event sample corresponds to the full integrated luminosity collected by the CMS detector at the LHC in 2011 and 2012, corresponding to .9$ fb$^{-1}$ and .5$ fb$^{-1}$, respectively. Candidates are selected in events with three leptons, large transverse missing energy and low hadronic activity. Each lepton may be an electron or a muon. No significant excess of events above the background expectation is observed. The observed (expected) upper limits on the WH cross section at the 95\% confidence level are about 3.3 (3.0) times larger than the predicted standard model cross section for $m_{\mathrm{H}}=125~\,\mathrm{Ge\kern -0.1em V}$.
