| Abstract: A search for large extra spatial dimensions in the dielectron channel is presented using a datasample of 19.6 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV collected by the CMS detector at the LHC. The dielectron invariant mass spectrum of the data agrees well with the prediction of the Standard Model. Depending on the number of extra dimensions and the validity range of the theory, limits of up to 4.77 TeV at 95$\%$ C.L. were set on the model parameter $M_{S}$. | ||
