Search for Dark Matter produced in association with bottom quarks

Abstract:
This note describes a search for Dark Matter (DM) produced in association with b quarks, using a dataset of 2.17 fb−1 of data collected by the CMS experiment in √s= 13 TeV proton-proton collisions at LHC. This analysis is sensitive also to DM production processes in association with top quarks. Results are reported as upper limits on the cross section for the b quark and top quark associated production independently, and interpreted within simplified models in terms of the coupling between the mediator and the DM candidate, for different mediator and DM candidate masses.
