Measurements of the B+, B0 and B0s production cross sections in pPb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV | ||

Abstract: Measurements of the differential cross sections dσB/dpT for B+, B0 and B0s mesons in pPb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV are presented. The data correspond to an integrated luminosity of 34.8 nb−1 collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The decay channels B+→ J/ψ K+, B0→ J/ψ K∗(892) and B0s→ J/ψ ϕ are used to detect B mesons and to measure their production cross sections. Nuclear modification factors, using FONLL calculations as a pp reference, at √sNN = 5.02 TeV, are found to be equal to unity within experimental and theoretical uncertainties. | ||
